5th Global Congress on Combating Counterfeiting and Piracy was held on 2-4 December 2009 Cancun City of Mexico. The congress theme is 'Bridging boundaries for shared solutions', which focus on how to deal with international counterfeiting piracy threat under the circumstances of global financial crisis and to this point held a high-level discussions and exchange. More than 800 official representatives of relevant international organizations and 80 countries came to attend the congress.

Global Congress on Combating Counterfeiting and Piracy was a co-sponsored major international conference founded in 2004 and launched together by the World Intellectual Property Organization, World Customs Organization, the INTERPOL and other organizations.

The client accompanied by Sunfaith representative participated in the congress, during which, they met Mr. Wang Zhiguang, China MPS representative and kept a deep conversation with him. Mr. Wang introduced to us his exploration and experience in China IPR work, as well as his views on home and abroad IPR form under current situation. We also took a better understanding by this chance of a number of IP strategy and policies to advantage in working out effective anti-counterfeiting strategies in China for the client.
